Wind River Tilcon Graphics Suite provides a solution for the development and deployment of rich graphical user interfaces (GUI) for embedded devices. The recently updated graphics suite includes support for Open Graphics Library (OpenGL) 3D that enables highly customizable and rapid development of high-end GUIs to create improved end-user experiences across a variety of hardware platforms and operating systems.
The quality of a device's GUI can make or break your product. Yet developing GUIs has traditionally been a time-consuming, costly, and risky process. Wind River Tilcon Graphics Suite offers a streamlined, codeless development environment, allowing developers to easily create, maintain, and rebrand user interfaces at a fraction of the time and cost of traditional graphics software. Additionally, it is fully integrated with the latest versions of VxWorks and Wind River Linux as well as Windows CE, Windows XP, Fedora, Red Hat Enterprise, and Ubuntu Linux. Hardware support has also been broadened to now include Freescale i.MX31, Intel Atom processors, and Texas Instruments OMAP platforms, providing customers with choice when selecting hardware to fit their specific product needs.
